I am extremely grateful to God for the privilege of working with Don and Lynn Hoyt, Wilma Riddell, and Donna Robinson to compile this awesome chronicle of God's faithfulness in the lives of a group of missionaries He called to serve Him in northeastern Zimbabwe over the past 60 years. We laughed and cried and worshipped God as we read through the many experiences these people so generously and candidly shared for this project.

I'll never forget the day I sat down to ponder the structural format of the book and felt like God virtually dictated the Table of Contents to me. As the chapter titles flowed without hesitation onto the computer screen before me, I saw more clearly than ever how God's hand was behind every aspect of missionary endeavor from the mundane to the spectacular, from the time He prepared and called these ordinary people to the time He indicated their work was done. Yes, there were human frailties, mistakes, disappointments, and failures, but none of these could stop the power of God from building His Church in northeastern Zimbabwe through their obedient service.
