This impressive CD
gets right to the heart of the issue, no ifs, ands or buts.
Sheila also does an excellent job of translating psychobabble into ordinary
layman's language so that DID can be properly understood and even
appreciated!
Sheila speaks with authority that comes from
experience—a lifetime of overcoming—and tells it like it is, a veteran who's
been in the trenches. This is an excellent resource for counselors, pastors,
or anyone interested in knowing more about the nuts and bolts of DID.

Strongholds, a long
overdue resource, does an excellent job of introducing "dissociation" to the
Church, using clear examples.
This is a significant resource for validating an abuse survivor's
reality. As a person serving on a church pastoral staff, I greatly
appreciate this new resource and highly recommend it to pastors.

Strongholds gives me hope, knowing that healing from DID is truly
possible—in spite of all its complexities.
Moreover, this CD presents the broad
spectrum of ramifications of this issue, emphasizing the great need for more
pastors and counselors that are trained to recognize DID and effectively
minister healing to Survivors.

In only 60 minutes, Sheila has accomplished
the daunting task of opening the door to an issue that is so difficult to
explain in a single conversation or teaching.
This CD will help more counselors and
pastors realize their need to learn more about DID. I’ve listened to it over
and over—because I keep learning things I had missed before.
